Research Interests

-Exploring psychological and cultural mechanisms that dislocate action from embodiment.
-Deconstructing cultural constructs that cripple essential reciprocity values (i.e., experience of embodiment, sympathy for all things, informing a sense of innate accountability and reciprocity).
-Neumann’s (1971) pre-personal sense of attunement and awareness conceptualized as being carried in the body.
- Illuminating cultural artifacts and systems that obstruct the sensuous dimension of awareness, and recuperation of the sensuous dimension.
-Centering necessary forms of knowledge archaically disregarded and oppressed in psychological paradigms of health and well-being.
-The necessity of mythopoetic sensibility to encourage cross-hemispheric reintegration for emotional intelligibility, growth, transmutation and healing.
-C.G. Jung's late works (interest in quantum physics, and inclusion of nature-centered cosmologies in conceptualizing the non-locality of the Self).

To be truly awake to the events in the world requires affective responsibility, to lead the feeling person into the world, into community engagement with our sisters and brothers, to notice moral insults and aesthetic injuries. To roar in protest.
