Psychodiagnostic Evaluation Services in  Los Angeles

All testing appointments are conducted in-person at one of our offices to ensure thorough observation and instrument validity. Approximately two days of testing are required for a comprehensive evaluation to cover all facets of cognitive, learning, academic, executive functioning, and social/emotional domains being assessed. Partial evaluations, such as an ADD/ADHD screening; or a personality profile (to gain insight into social/emotional functioning), can expect one full day of testing. For younger children, a schedule of shorter days is carried out over a period of four mornings for age-appropriateness. Once the assessment is complete, the data and psychometrics are processed. The integrated, comprehensive report is written from the results of testing within 2-3 weeks. At which time, an appointment with Dr. McLaren is set to share results, insights, and recommendations for next steps. A written copy of the results is provided to you at the follow-up appointment, typically between 20-40 pages in length, depending on the nature and results of the evaluation.
